Now was the time in history labeled The Reign of Terror. It was the short but the bloodiest period during the French Revolution. This was a movement that resulted in the overthrow of the monarchy, a government ruled by a king or queen. The Reign of Terror began in 1793 and ended today on July 7th 1794. During this time revolutionary leader Maximilien Robespierre headed a group called a tribunal that arrested, tried, and put to death more than 17,000 people. Most of them killed by the guillotine. It was horrifying really. They had killed my oldest brother. For that there must be no mercy. help. cat

Rest there poor souls.. Those who died were most likely good people who did not expect or deserve what happened to them. This is so wrong. May they RIP Crying or Very sad ----Rough
