Louis XVI is DEAD!!!

Suffrage was extended to all male citizens, and when they came together,they had voted on a task. That task was to abolish the monarchy and declare France a republic. The Convention, During the early months of the republic, put Louis XVI on trial as a traitor to France. And i AGREE!!!!! He was a traitor for trying to flee like the coward he was. During the execution he tried to speak but his words were drowned out by a roll of drums. Moments later, he was beheaded! We didnt celebrate yet though we waited until Marie Antoinette.I wanted to scream in pure joy but decided not to and hurried home since i told my mom i was just going on a walk and that i would stay Away from the execution.
