I was called back to France to attend a signing of a new document. The tennis court oath was a document stating that the revolutionaries wouldnt stop meeting until a new constitution was signed. These people were good men with good intentions. they sought to make a difference in france and bring about peace with a new government. But i know from expirience that the only way to stop corruption in the government was to severe it's head.
